How are the Worlds Bids decided at FC Internationals?
As recommended by the USASF, teams eligible for a bid to USASF Worlds will perform over two rounds. For cheer & dance all teams in divisions that are eligible for Worlds Bids will compete in Round One, regardless of whether they have already accepted a bid from another Event Producer. It is at this point that competition rankings are scored and trophies awarded.
Round Two for Cheer Teams:
Teams who have not already accepted a Partial Paid bid from another Event Producer will perform again on Sunday Windsor Session 3. Judges will provide feedback (but not scores) on the USASF Worlds Score Sheet. Bids will be awarded to the teams who perform the best over two days, taking into consideration the type of bid a team is eligible to receive (Partial Paid or At Large).
Round Two for Dance Teams:
The top ten dance teams from across the dance divisions eligible for a bid to the USASF Worlds, who have not already accepted a Partial Paid bid from another Event Producer, will perform again on Sunday Purbeck Session 1. Judges will provide feedback (but not scores) on the USASF Worlds Score Sheet. Bids will be awarded to the teams who perform the best over the two rounds.
